Kombucha is the resoult of a living oragism called scoby and sugured black tea that have been fermenting for awhile.

Like other fermented foods it's healthy but I havn't tried it yet since I don't drink alcohol (but to kombuchas defence the alcohol amount is low).

Bought kombucha is normally not considered as healthy though, partly since many countrys have rules that means that it must be heated before selling (to make shure that the alcohol content don't rise too hight if the botle stays on te shelf too long)
