The unrest in Darjeeling may come to an end

I can't remember if I have written about this here before but there have been much unrest in Darjeeling this last two months (almost 2 months). With seven dead so far, shut down internet, stores, schools, military precense you might guess that there havn't been much time for growing Tea.

The second flush can't be saved, about 89% of the harvest is lost and the price of Darjeeling doubled.

But now there will be a talk between the local government officials and the Gorkha
Lets hope for all that this will be an end to this unrest
