Have you ever tried wagashi?

Wagashi is japanese sweets normally consumed with Tea.

Have you ever tried wagashi? If so did you like it? If not, would you like to try?

I have years ago when I was on a cha no yu course in Stockholm. I really loved it and hope to be able to make some of my own since it's rare for me to go to Stockholm

No I haven't actually? What is Wagashi like? Is it a hard or a soft sweet?

#5 theres both kinds. One common is mochi (sweet, sticky, soft, dough now commonly made of glutunius rice flur, water and sugar. Traditionelly its made of boiled bashed rice and sugar) and red bean paste (adzuki beans and sugar). Its sweet but not as sweet as it sounds

#6 If it is made with rice flour it is more than likely gluten-free! Good news for me!

#6 They sound delicious! I have tried red bean paste before and really enjoyed it, and I think I may have actually had mochi at a restaurant before 🙂
